Injectables Training
Patricia Ritter is a Nurse Practitioner and has worked in nursing for over 15 years as an educator and clinician. Prior to working in aesthetics, she has worked in such fields as Dermatology and Pediatric Oncology and Rheumatology.
For nearly 10 years now her focus has been in Aesthetics.
Patricia began her aesthetics career in Las Vegas, Nevada where she has injected some of the top people in the entertainment business but for the last 6 years she has lived and worked in Colorado and her clientele spans from Denver to Aspen and Chicago to New York.
Patricia is a national trainer for some of the most recognized injectable companies on the market today and has mentored and taught some of the top medical professionals and their staff in this industry in both fundamental and advanced techniques in the use of Botox®, Dysport® and soft tissue fillers all across the country. She was the first advanced trained provider in the use of Selphyl and PRP for skin rejuvenation.
In April of 2011 she left her position as Director of Injectables at New You Colorado to start her own injectable practice. She has received a trademark on one of her advanced techniques that offers balance and dimension to the face.

*Models For Training:
Product can be provided to you or it can be brought from your office. If we provide the product you will be informed of the cost ahead of time. In order to help you offset the cost of product used during training, we suggest having your models pay a "training cost" for product used on them. We can help advise you on product pricing for training sessions. If needed, models can be arranged for you to inject during group trainings but the cost of the product will be your responsibility).

Will I get enough personal attention?
The answer is a resounding "Yes". We understand that everyone's learning styles are different and communication is often lost in large groups, our classes are kept to a maximum of 6-8 attendees. This allows us to address your needs and maximize your learning while helping you master your injecting technique. Some classes offered include skin care and laser treatments.

What supplies will I need?

All basic injectable supplies will be provided. A list of suggested extra supplies to have available will be sent to your prior to training. If you are a physician, product for training can be purchased by contacting Allergan, Medicis, or Merz and opening an account depending on the type of product you want to be educated on. Otherwise, if you prefer, product can be purchased in advance of the training. If needed we are more than happy to give you guidance on suggested filler products.

What if I have questions after training?

After you've completed a training course, we understand that you may have questions about what you've learned. Although a take home training manual will be provided some of these questions may not arise until later, or you may need a refresher on parts of the techniques we've taught.
For 30 days after the date of your training, Patricia offers you an unlimited number of calls or emails with your questions or patient photo consultations. The ability to do this is invaluable; it's like having a personal hotline at your fingertips. The cost for unlimited follow up questions or local office visits for a 1 year period are available for an additional $250 and can be added to the cost of your training.

Do I need to be certified to inject Botox®?

A certificate of training will be provided to you upon completion. However, each state determines the level of licensure required to perform injectable procedures. Our training is limited to M.D.s, Mid-level providers and Nurses. Nurses cannot function independently but can work under the orders of a physician and all providers are required to have a certification of completion for their malpractice files.

When can I get started on my own?

Your training session will provide you with all the tools to start evaluating and treating patients. Our goal is that you will begin seeing patients the next day.

Do trainers have hands on experience?

Patricia has been working in this field for more than 10 years and attends advanced and informational training on a regular basis. We feel that in order to perfect your craft education is crucial at all levels of experience.

Remember....
"If you learn one pearl of information that improves your practice, your technique or your patient retention, it's worth your time".

Prerequisite: Licensure in one of the following: LPN~MA~PA~RN~MD or Doctor Referral

*Check your local State Rules and Regulations on class certifications. All paying courses which you receive a certificate, require course review for State Board approval within each given state. Several businesses are failing to adhere to specific State guidelines, hence making the certificates you receive invalid.
